Disclaimer & risk disclosure.
Before you invest, there are a few things we are required to make plain, and a few we simply think you should know. None of them is buried in the fine print. They are here, in full size.
Mutual fund investments are subject to market risks. Read all scheme-related documents carefully. Past performance is not indicative of future returns, and the value of investments can fall as well as rise.
What this page is
This Disclaimer applies to the whole Third Rock Wealth website and service. It works together with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. Its job is to be clear about what this service is, what it is not, and what you are responsible for as an investor.
Market risk
Every mutual fund carries market risk. The value of a mutual fund moves with the markets and securities it holds. It can fall as well as rise, and you may receive back less than the amount you invested. Different funds carry different kinds and degrees of risk. You should read the Scheme Information Document and other scheme-related documents of any fund, and understand its risk, before you invest.
Past performance
Where this site shows the past performance of a fund, that information describes what has already happened. It is not a promise or a reliable indicator of what will happen next. A fund that has performed well may not continue to, and a fund's category position can change. Treat all historical figures as context, not as a forecast.
No investment advice
Third Rock Wealth is a SEBI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor. Nothing on this website is investment advice within the meaning of the SEBI (Investment Advisers) Regulations, 2013 (as amended), and nothing here is a personal recommendation to you.
The information, fund descriptions, comparisons, research material and tools on this site are general. They do not take account of your individual financial situation, needs or goals. Any decision to invest, stay invested, or redeem is yours. If you are unsure, you should seek advice suited to your circumstances.
Personalised, written investment advice for a fee is a separate, separately regulated service offered by our sister service, Omega Portfolio Advisors, a SEBI-registered Investment Adviser. Distribution and advice are different activities, and you would register for advice separately.
No guaranteed returns
No return shown, modelled, illustrated or discussed anywhere on this site is promised, assured or guaranteed. Mutual funds do not offer assured returns. Any figure produced by a calculator or tool is an illustration based on assumptions, not a commitment. Your actual outcome depends on the markets, the fund, the timing of your investments, and how long you stay invested.
Accuracy of information
We work to keep the information on this site accurate and current, but we cannot promise that it is always complete, accurate or up to date. Fund data, including net asset values, performance, portfolio holdings, ratings and category figures, comes from asset management companies, registrars and third-party data providers. We do not control that data. Where a figure on this site differs from the official records of the asset management company or registrar, those official records prevail.
Tools and calculators
The calculators and tools on this site, such as the SIP, lumpsum and fund-overlap tools, are provided to help you explore and understand options. They run on assumptions, some of which you choose. Their results are illustrations for general understanding. They are not forecasts, not advice, and not a recommendation to buy or sell any fund.
Regular Plan information only
The mutual fund schemes and information shown on this site relate to Regular Plans. We display Regular Plan information only. We do not present Direct Plan information or Direct-versus-Regular comparisons on this site.
How we are paid
We believe you should know how the service is funded. When you invest in a Regular Plan mutual fund through Third Rock Wealth, the asset management company pays us a distribution commission. The commission is set in line with SEBI norms and is disclosed in each scheme's Scheme Information Document. You do not pay us a separate fee for distribution.
Because we are paid by the asset management company, this is a commercial relationship, and it is fair for you to weigh that. We commit to displaying fund information honestly and not letting commission decide what we show you.
The TRW Score
The Third Rock Wealth Score (TRW Score) shown on this site is a quantitative analytical metric produced by our research pipeline. It is a composite measure of a fund's historical performance, risk management, consistency, manager tenure, and cost efficiency, rescaled to a 0 to 5 scale.
The TRW Score is not a buy, hold, or sell recommendation. It is not personal investment advice. It does not take account of your individual financial situation, goals, time horizon, risk appetite, or tax position. A fund with a high TRW Score may not be appropriate for you, and a fund with a lower score may not be inappropriate for you. The score is one input among many, and the decision to invest is always yours.
Scores are recomputed monthly from our research pipeline using publicly available data from AMFI, scheme documents, and AMC disclosures. They reflect conditions at the time they were last computed; they are not forward-looking and are not a guarantee of future performance.
